Body Dearmouring
A shield that has become too heavy and restricting
There are many forms of bodywork that could be described as body dearmouring—yet the intention is always the same: to melt away excessive hardness, to soften, to dissolve the armour that has taken physical form. A shield the body once built, almost like a literal wall, now limiting your freedom of movement. The tension and rigidity in the body becomes too heavy to carry, or simply starts causing pain—a suit of armour that has become far too tight.
The way I work
Some forms of body dearmouring are done over clothing, with gentle touch or purely energetic presence. My way is different. I work directly on the skin, using oil, and through physical contact. I love weaving together different techniques and working across various tissue layers. Some approaches go quite deep—releasing fascia, addressing muscular trigger points. I often use thumb-on-thumb pressure, sometimes work with meridian points, and always respond intuitively to what the body reveals.
But when the tissue is truly hardened, it’s the softer techniques that have the most impact. Forcing the body doesn't work. You can’t pry it open—you have to invite it. And that takes presence, patience, and deep listening.
Always attuned, always held
Before each session, I ground and centre myself energetically, creating a clear and conscious energetic field. This field becomes the container in which the work unfolds. Holistic pulsing is always part of my sessions—it invites the nervous system into a deep rhythm of relaxation, allowing tension to naturally release and the body to open more easily.
Attunement to the receiver is essential. Learning to feel what your body needs. Honouring limits. Sensing where your edge lies. That requires clear communication and a space of mutual trust. I invite you into that dialogue—so that you can begin to feel your own boundaries, express them, and grow in both body awareness and autonomy.
A space where softness can flourish
For me, body dearmouring is about far more than physical techniques. It’s about opening a space where softness becomes safe again. Where vulnerability is welcome. Where armour is no longer necessary.
And to do that, we need an energetic field that is pure and clean. A field that holds and protects you, so your body can slowly come back home.
Even though I have been partially trained in this field, the way I practise body dearmouring does not include internal physical techniques. Everything happens on the outside—yet, as so often in energetic work, it is within where the true softening begins.
